Germantown Friends placed first among 15 teams in the prestigious COA distance medley race at the Penn Relays on April 25th. The Tigers posted a time of 10:11.54 to easily win the race by 5 seconds over LaSalle College High School. Senior Isaac Ortiz led off with a 3:07.6 in the 1200 m. leg. He passed the baton to sophomore Tom Waterman who ran a 52.6 400 m. leg before handing off to senior Jake McKenzie who ran a 1:56.4 800 m.
