Friends Schools League Athletes Compete at State Indoor Track & Field Championship: GFS Boys Place 3rd and Girls 5th in the Distance Medley Relay.

The Germantown Friends boys DMR (Max Kaulbach, Jake McKenzie, Jasper Sneff-Nanni and Alex Waterman) ran a school record 10:24.86 at Penn State on Saturday, February 24th. They placed 3rd, just 3.3 seconds behind the winning team and within 5 seconds of the fastest indoor DMR in the nation this year. They have been named to the PA Track & Field Coaches Association Indoor All-state team. The girls squad (Ceci Davis-Hayes, Maddie Hawes, Jascia Kaulbach and Julia Bergman) also set a school record in 12:53.29
